Registration for one of our activities implies the acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale and the Nordic Ranch’s internal regulations.
RESERVATION AND PAYMENT :
Our activities are by reservation: the day before at the latest for rides and activities that require a lot of logistics; 3 hours in advance maximum for shorter activities (reindeer visits and mini-farms per exemple).
All activities must be paid in full at registration.
The prices indicated are firm.
Payment at the office by check, cash or credit card. Or payment via online booking.
For any activity booking made at the office, and if the customer does not have an accepted means of payment, they will be invited to go online to book their activity and pay directly online. Registration for the activity will only be valid once it has been paid in full. The same applies to any booking made by phone or email.
TERMS OF CANCELATION AND MEETING :
A meeting time and place are systematically communicated to you regardless of the service.
For the smooth running of the activities and out of respect for the other participants and the professional who supervises you, be sure to anticipate your travel in order to be punctual.
Any delay of more than 10 minutes harms the smooth running of our activities on the day. Beyond this deadline, the instructors leave for activities and no refund or compensation will be required.
If the client does not show up on the date and time of the reservation, does not notify, is unreachable on the telephone number provided, no refund or compensation will be required.
In the event of a delay or abandonment on your part during the activity, no refund from us is possible.
In the event that you wish to postpone your activity, due to weather that would inconvenience you (or any other reason), a supplement of 50% of the price of the activity will be charged to you, as compensation for occupying a slot that could have been sold to other customers.
Le Ranch Nordique reserves the right to cancel an activity due to special conditions (conditions that do not ensure the safety of participants and/or horses, force majeure, etc.). In this case, you will have the option of either choosing a new date or a refund of the activity (less the management fees for online bookings).
INSURANCE, RESPONSIBILITIES, LICENSE :
The Ranch Nordique is insured for civil liability.
However, riders must have their own insurance for the practice of horse riding. Please note: many insurances do not cover accidents related to riding.
It is therefore strongly advised to take out a license from the French Equestrian Federation. This license can be issued with the Ranch Nordique.
The cost of the federal license is €36 for adults and €25 for children under 18.
If you do not wish to take out a license for your child during the courses, please provide us with a copy of an insurance certificate covering the risks associated with the practice of horse riding.
The practice of outdoor activities takes place in a specific environment called "at risk".
Each participant is aware, given the specific nature of the activities offered, that he or she may run certain risks due in particular to the specific nature of the environment. He or she assumes them with full knowledge of the facts and must comply with the rules of prudence and follow the advice given by professionals.
Registration for one of our activities therefore implies acceptance of the risks inherent in the practice of horse riding and its related activities.
In the event of a personal accident, the liability of the Ranch Nordique and the instructor involved is released as soon as the victim is taken care of by the competent emergency services, and any hospital follow-up will be the responsibility of the accident victim's personal insurance.
The participant is responsible for the equipment lent to him or her for the activity. The professional cannot be held responsible for any damage that may be caused by the equipment made available.
In the event of theft or damage to the loaned equipment, the participant/customer may be asked for compensation for wear and tear or a full refund of the equipment.
Le Ranch Nordique cannot be held responsible for the loss, theft (including in vehicles) or breakage of objects (e.g. glasses, cameras, etc.) that participants may take with them during the activity and that may occur during the activity.
CONDITIONS FOR ACCESSING ACTIVITIES:
Access to the activities requires that the payment for it has been fully paid.
Our activities are open to all; however, depending on the activities, certain conditions must be taken into account (age limit, technical level, physical condition, etc.).
You must not have a medical contraindication to the practice of the chosen activity.
The Ranch Nordique is not responsible in the event that the client indicates when booking a level (equestrian or ski) that is not real. The Ranch reserves the right, if it finds a level insufficient to ensure safety, to refuse access to the activity without the possibility of reimbursement. As far as possible, the client will be offered another slot corresponding to the level adapted to him.
For certain activities, weight limits are set to ensure animal welfare and safety. These limits are clearly specified when booking. Thus, the Ranch reserves the right to refuse access to the activity without the possibility of reimbursement if this limit is not respected.
Wearing appropriate clothing for the activity is MANDATORY. Equip yourself with long, flexible trousers and closed shoes. Please note: no shorts, skirts or dresses; the ankles and calves must be protected.
The Ranch reserves the right to refuse access to the activity without the possibility of reimbursement if the outfit of the participants does not ensure their safety (for example: ski helmet mandatory for skijoring).
Riding helmets with a caps can be provided by the Ranch.
The instructors reserve the right to exclude a participant whose behavior is likely to disrupt the smooth running of the activity or compromise the safety of the group. In this case, the participant will not be able to claim any refund or compensation.
PERSONAL INVOLVEMENT WITH ANIMALS:
Horse riding is a sport that is practiced with live animals! This therefore requires arriving early to take care of your pony/horse (preparation time included in the activities), and leaving after taking care of it as well!
No act of mistreatment towards our animals will be tolerated. If the participant's actions are deemed disrespectful towards the animals, the participant will be excluded from the activity, without possible negotiation, and will not be able to claim any refund or compensation.
SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES:
The parties will endeavour to resolve amicably any difficulties that may arise in the execution of the contract. If no amicable agreement can be reached, all disputes relating to the validity, interpretation and execution of this agreement will be governed exclusively by the rules of French law.
All disputes, of whatever nature, will fall under the jurisdiction of the French civil and commercial courts, including those ruling on summary proceedings.
