Ride: You have never ridden a horse. You ride a horse very occasionally, on holiday. You never took riding lessons.
In Courses: Learn the basics while having fun. Acquire autonomy in the handling, preparation, care of the pony/horse; integrate the safety rules; explore the sensations mounted.
Ride: You ride occasionally, you have already done some rides or classes, or you have not ridden a horse for a long time; and YOU ARE IN GOOD PHYSICAL CONDITION.
In Courses: Consolidate the basics while having fun, gain confidence and discover new equestrian disciplines. Learn to recognize the emotions of the pony/horse and take them into account.
Ride: You are AUTONOMOUS to prepare and saddle your horse. You are able to ride and dismount horse without assistance. You master the speed and direction of the horse AT ALL PACES and IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES outdoors. You ride any type of horse and you are able to make long and sustained gallops. You are in good physical condition and can stay in the saddle for several hours in a row.
In Courses: You are autonomous to take care of your horse. You are looking to progress towards more technique, establish a relationship of trust and mutual respect with your horse, to increase the sporting abilities of your duo.

The Ranch Nordique offers mini pony rides in hand to offer a first approach to these sensations, even for the youngest.
FOR CHILDREN FROM 3 TO 8 YEARS (maximum weight 40kg), UNDER THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PARENTS.
Departures every 45 minutes (4 ponies per departure => remember to book!)
- Provide one adult per pony !
- The helmet is provided.
- Closed shoes are essential for the child and the accompanying person for maximum safety.
- In summer, avoid shorts or skirts for children, as bare legs can be irritated against the saddle.
- Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the tour.

1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon (picnic not included).
Gallop 2 minimum or level validated by the instructor after having completed a course at the Ranch.

Except for children from 3 to 6 years old, who must be accompanied on the sledge, either with a child over 6 years old, or by an adult.
But ⚠️ for each sled, the total weight must not exceed 60 kg.

ON THE PROGRAM:
After a few minutes of initiation to get to know your companion and learn the basics, you will leave in a small group and with a qualified instructor for a ride on the paths of Méribel in a beautiful natural environment.

Meeting at 4 p.m. – duration approximately 1 hour

You ride horses occasionally, you have already taken a few rides or lessons, or you have not been back on horseback for a long time; and YOU ARE IN GOOD PHYSICAL CONDITION.
ON THE PROGRAM:
Let's go for a peaceful 2-hour horseback ride, heading to the Tueda National Nature Reserve to admire its lake and mountains.

From Monday to Thursday.
Meet at 1:30 p.m. to prepare the horses – duration approximately 2 hours
PRICE: €60
You ride horses regularly. You take riding lessons. You are AUTONOMOUS to prepare and saddle your horse. You are able to mount and dismount without assistance. You master the 3 gaits outdoors.
ON THE PROGRAM:
Let's go for a 3-paced ride on the paths of Méribel, heading to the Tueda National Natural Reserve to admire its lake and mountains, to the great pleasure of horses and riders.
SCHEDULE:
From Monday to Thursday.
Meet at 9 a.m. at the Ranch to prepare – or meet at 8:30 a.m. at the meadow to reassemble the horses (bring your helmet; possibility of stopping by the day before to choose a helmet) – end around 12 p.m.
PRICE: €80
You are PERFECTLY AUTONOMOUS to prepare and saddle your horse. You are able to mount and dismount without assistance. You control the speed and direction of the horse AT ALL Gaits and IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES outdoors. You ride any type of horse and you are capable of long, sustained gallops. You are in good physical condition and can stay in the saddle for several hours.
ON THE PROGRAM:
Opt for the day hike and come ride through our entire beautiful valley!!
In the morning, around 2 hours on horseback, discover the Altiport forest.
At midday we have a picnic, while the horses take a nice little nap.
And in the afternoon, be ready for nearly 3 hours on horseback, on breathtaking paths, between mountains and torrents.
An experience to absolutely live!
SCHEDULE:
Every Friday, depending on weather conditions and a minimum of 4 people registered.
Meet at 9 a.m. at the Ranch to prepare – or meet at 8:30 a.m. at the meadow to reassemble the horses (bring your helmet; possibility of spending the evening before to choose a helmet).
Return around 5:30 p.m., to take good care of the horses after this superb day, then bring them back to the meadow.

Ski Joëring (a term derived from the Swedish Skijöring and the Norwegian Skikjøring) is a sporting discipline combining skiing and an equestrian team. The origins of Ski Joëring date back to 2500 BC, when the first traces are found in Sweden, Ski Joëring was only a means of transport at the time. It was a technique the locals used to travel from farm to farm but instead of using horses like we do today, they used reindeer.

The Ranch offers you "equi-snow" baptisms of around 20 minutes to discover these new sliding sensations! 40€
The Ski-Joëring baptism takes place on the snow-covered arena and in the forest: the horse is ridden by the supervisor and pulls the skier behind him, thanks to the use of a harness and a frame.
A 2nd star level in skiing is required: knowing how to turn with parallel skis + mastery of the snow plow.
10 YEARS OLD MINIMUM
BE CAREFUL, during this activity, you will be pulled by horses that have a lot of strength, sometimes at a gallop, it can go very fast ! You really need to be comfortable on skis ! This level limit should not be taken lightly, it is the minimum required for the activity to take place in complete safety ! Thank you for really taking this into account !
Equip yourself with your ski equipment: suitable jacket and pants, ski boots, gloves, SKI HELMET MANDATORY, and above all, YOUR SKIS : these must not exceed 1m50 to avoid the risk of injuring the horse! => Get closer to your ski rental, they will surely be able to provide you with smaller skis (snowblades alike) for the occasion.
